Evaluation Question 6 - What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Through the course of creating my music magazine i have learned a lot about technologies and they have greatly helped when making my music magazine. During this time i have regularly blogged my progress and the answers to my evaluation. I used many technologies during the creation of my magazine such as Adobe Photoshop, DSLR Camera, Olympus Viewer 3, Microsoft Powerpoint and Internet Explorer. Photoshop was used to create my magazine, it was extremely useful when putting my magazine together as it is easy to move images around, change colours, create shapes, make the background completely white and easily add text. Without this it wouldn't have been possible to create my magazine so it looks professional and neat. A DSLR Camera was to take images of my model to be on the front cover, contents page and double page spread of my magazine. Using this camera meant that  my images would be of a good quality and i can instantly see what my images look like. Because i can instantly see my images i can decide whether i liked the image i took or not. I used Olympus Viewer 3 to edit the brightness and contrast and i also used a setting called Tone Corrections which made my images more vibrant. I used Microsoft Powerpoint to answer some of the exam questions and to put my progession images on one image. I used Internet Explorer for reasearch and documenting my progress. It was extremely useful for this and to clearly show my work on my blog. Overall technology has helped me to create my front cover, contents page and double page spread, without these my magazine would be of poor quality.
